On Monday I received from Governor Perdue the honor of being appointed District Attorney for the Houston Judicial Circuit.  I am very excited about this opportunity and eager to get to work serving Houston County in this new role.

I will take the oath of office from Governor Perdue in his office on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 1:30 p.m.  I know that we all have very busy schedules, but I wanted to extend an invitation to attend the ceremony to the attorneys in the local bar with whom I have worked so closely during my career and with whom I will continue to work as District Attorney.
